We use galvannealed steel for our custom legs, a durable, strong, long-lasting, rust-resistant material. The legs are powder coated to provide a durable, high-quality finish that is resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and abrasion. This finish is also an environmentally friendly choice because it contains no solvents and emits very few volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the atmosphere, eliminating the need for primers that may contain toxic carcinogens. Powder coating is fast, saves energy, and reduces environmental impact by recycling heated air.
We use FSC certified Western Red Cedar for all our planters. Cedar is non-toxic, has beautiful natural color and grain, and a wonderful scent. It thrives in moist climates, can withstand many conditions, is rot resistant, and will not shrink, expand, warp or rot with weather changes. Cedar will ensure your planters last all season in any climate. Cedar is a natural insect repellent, helping to keep unwanted pests away from your garden.
