Shipping Policy
Shipping options
- Order Processing : Once your order is processed at our warehouse, it is handed over to our shipping partners, such as UPS or FedEx. Once shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. Processing and delivery times may be affected by weather, higher than expected shipment volumes, or other unforeseen delays.
Estimated Delivery Time
- Once processed, your order will be picked up by our delivery partner and sent to you via our distribution center. Delivery usually takes 1-5 business days (depending on region and product). Delivery to remote/rural areas may take an additional 3-5 business days.
Additional Factors to Consider
- Delivery estimates are subject to change due to weather, increased volume, and other unforeseen delays. Deliveries to urban areas tend to be faster than rural areas. Deliveries to remote islands or areas requiring a ferry may take longer. You cannot request that the courier leave your package at a designated location, and no signature is required unless specifically requested.
Order Tracking Information
- TRACKING NOTIFICATION : Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
- Order History : You can track your order in your Order History within your Account Center.
- Activation Time : It may take up to 72 hours for your tracking number to become active.
Shipping Restrictions
- One Shipping Address Per Order : Each order can only be shipped to one address. If you wish to ship to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each shipping address.
Refusal to accept
- Return shipping costs : If the item is refused and returned, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Return Policy
- Returns period : Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of receiving the product. Proof of purchase (information that can be verified against our records or electronic order confirmation) is required for returns.
- Return Options : You can choose from store credit, exchange for another item of equal value, or a refund to your original payment method.
- Inspection and Refund : Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your return. Once approved, we will issue a refund to your original form of payment (this may take 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution).

Return Shipping Costs : If we arrange collection, we will refund you less the following shipping costs:
- Items under 10kg: ¥1,500
- Items between 10kg and 25kg: ¥3,000
- Items over 25kg: ¥4,500
- Duties and Charges : We reserve the right to deduct any duties and charges from any refunds.
- Exception : Returned items must be unused and in the original packaging. If you are unsure whether an item can be returned, please contact us before placing your order.
- Returns procedure : Returns can only be initiated by the original purchaser. If you would like to return an item, please contact us by email at info@cedarplanters.jp .

- Warranty Period : Plant boxes and raised flower beds are covered by a limited warranty of 3 years from the date of purchase plus 21 days for shipping. All other products are covered by a limited warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase.
- Warranty coverage : Limited to structural defects and does not cover minor cracks, discoloration, knotholes, weathering or other natural aging of wood products.
- Remedies : Our liability is limited to repairing or replacing the defective product or refunding the purchase price, at our sole discretion.
- Disclaimer : This warranty is exclusive and supersedes all other warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
International Shipping and Import Duties
- Customs Duties : International shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes once the product arrives in the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the recipient.
- Local Regulations : Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
- Duties Payment : Import duties are levied once the goods arrive in the destination country and must be paid by the recipient.
- Delivery Delays : Please be aware that delivery delays may occur due to customs inspections, as these are beyond our control.

- Your order will be delivered by a shipping company such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL. It will usually arrive within 1-5 days from the date of shipment, depending on your destination.
What should I do if I enter the wrong shipping address?
- Please be sure to check your shipping address before placing your order. If you notice an error, please email us at info@cedarplanters.jp within 24 hours of placing your order. Subsequent changes cannot be guaranteed due to high order volume and fast shipping. We are not responsible for shipping issues caused by incorrect address entry.
Do I have to pay import duties on international orders?
- For international shipments, import duties and taxes may be levied once the product reaches the destination country. These charges are determined by local customs authorities and must be borne by the recipient.
Why do I have to pay import duties?
- Import duties and taxes are imposed by destination governments to regulate imported goods and ensure compliance with local regulations. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping costs.
